Box Score ALAMOSA, Colo. – Trentin Atkin's penalty kick in the 23^rd minute was all it took for the Mavericks to extend their unbeaten streak against the Adams State Grizzlies in a 1-0 win on Friday afternoon in a RMAC men's soccer match.
 
The goal was Atkin's first of the season and gave Colorado Mesa the lead that they would not relinquish.
 
The Mavericks outshot the Grizzlies in the match 12-4.
 
Freshman Briley Guarneri earned his second shutout of the season, only needing to make one save in the match.
 
The Mavericks will return home on Sunday to face RMAC rival Fort Lewis at noon at Walker Field.
